Review: Max star flatforms

So, today I recieved a pair of flatforms in the mail. My third pair, BUT this is my first from max star.

It all started when I got my first pair of flatforms. ( which is similar to the ones i just recieved) I started wanting more flatforms, cuz I love flatforms thats all! I started watching videos on youtube, and most of them reviewed shoes from max star. I checked out the site and they have some AWESOME shoes thats for sure!
Not all of them is not really ''my style'' I suppose, but most of them is. So i saw there was a ''reviewer'' page, so i checked it out. I jusst thought '' the only bad thing they can say is no'' so why not email them. Who ever can become a reviewer if you have some kind of blog and if they say yes obviously. This is the reviwer page, go ahead and email them! :-)
I simply told them i wanted to review  theese shoes which is EXACTLY the same in real as in the photo. And they said yes, which made me soooooooooo happy.

My first pair of flatforms had a 5 cm platform, so theese had a bit shorter platform. They are really EASY to walk in if you have the right size. I have the european size 40 so mine is 7 i think. And they are perfect.  If you have big feet i think i would suggest getting a bigger size. The package came with one dustbag, and 3 (!!!) laces black, white and red. I wasnt expecting getting more than 1 lace.

The flatforms from Max Star is in my opinion really cheap that its insane.I have to get more shoes from max star thats for sure. The shoes was sent 19th december and arrived 31 th december I think, I cant remember. But I couldnt pick the shoes up until today. How long the shipping takes is different country to country cause they ship from south corea.

Skinny law in Israel

 Israeli lawmakers have banned underweight models from catwalks and commercials, a measure they hope will reduce eating disorders and promote a healthy body image.

The law, passed late on Monday, says women and men cannot be hired for modeling jobs unless a doctor stipulates they are not underweight, with a body mass index (BMI) -- a measure expressing a ratio of weight to height -- of no less than 18.5.

The law also bans the use of a person who "appears underweight" and says advertisers must explicitly state if graphic manipulation was done to make a model look thinner in a photo.

Rachel Adato, one of the lawmakers who pushed the bill, said ahead of the vote she hoped the law would protect youth from pursuing unattainable ideals of beauty. "Beautiful is not underweight, beautiful should not be anorexic," she said.

The fashion industry's use of wafer-thin models on runways and in magazines has for years sparked heated debate. Critics say the practice promotes an unhealthy body image among women, which contributes to anorexia and other eating disorders.

Designers and agencies have often been criticized for putting relentless pressure on their models to stay unhealthily thin. After two anorexic Latin American models died in 2006, countries includingItaly and India banned underweight models from the catwalk.

Adi Barkan, an Israeli fashion photographer and model agent who collaborated with Adato on promoting the law, said impossible standards set by the fashion industry were getting too dangerous.

"I look (back) 15 to 20 years ago, we shot models (sized) thirty-eight. Today, it's twenty-four." Barkan said on the set of a photoshoot in Tel Aviv.

"This is the difference between thin and too thin. This is the difference between death and life," he added.

Danit Rozman, an Israeli model on Barkan's set, said it was important for young women to accept who they were. "I think it's better to bring something more real to the industry and in general to the world," Rozman said.

My thoughts.
My first reaction when I found out about this law was '' why doesnt this law excist in every single country where theres lots of models'' (france, usa,  england etc etc.)
I find this law fantastic. But maybe the models in Israel doesnt. I guess many have to stop modelling cause they are to under weight. I think we would have less underweight models if this law existed in more countries. I personally have a bmi on 20 + something  so  i'm  not under weight. Its sick what people will do just to become skinny ( starving for exxample, which is not good in any way.
i hope this law will exist in more countries in the future, well, i think more countries will have this law.

December purchases

Hi there!
Even though I'm going to shop more clothes etc, I wanted to show you guys some of my purchases from december. Ive actually been shopping very much this month now when I think about it... haha. Oh well!

Picture one: Clothing from madlady.se That necklace is awesome, I havent used the brah yet though. The leggins is very hard to style, so I havent worn them either, no idea what to wear with it.

Picture two: Bag from H&M. I found this bag on H&M'S sale, guess what it costed? 50 SEK!! Bargain for sure! I have seen theese bags in other colors on tumblr as well, but theyre not from H&M. Dont know where you can find them. Mine is so cool, and so bright pink!

Picture three: Todays purchases. Both from BIKBOK, 50 % off both :-) The pants costed 299 sek and the belt, i have no idea but it was cheap :) ( I couldnt upload the picture, but you can find it on my tumblr blog)

Christmas 2012

So its been quite a while since I wrote something on this blog. But I have a good reason to why I couldnt update it. My big brother decided to update our computer, and what happend was that he made it so we couldnt go to like seriously any sites. Only facebook. Not even google or tumblr. But it wasnt on purpose obviously,  I dont know why it is like that. But on Christmas Eve mom and dad ordered a NEW COMPUTER!!  Yess!! Now we no longer have to use our Ipad to be able to be on tumblr etc.
Todays 26th december, which means christmas eve was 2 days ago. ( Well for most of us in sweden atleast,  I dont know why everyone celebrates christmas the 25th ... )
As always in the morning we got a morning gift, which was a facial mask. Later on in the evening we opened the rest of the gifts. ( Im to lazy to write what we did in between, ate food with my relatives etc)
What I got was in total: facial mask, 700 sek, headphones, 2 different stuff for the nails, candy &  a cute top.
I was expecting to get more stuff, but my birthday was 20 days earlier so ( 4th december)
And as I said, mom ordered a computer to the family so finally I can update this blog more often.
I hope I get some readers on this blog... otherwise I'm deleting it

Flatforms

 I LOVE FLATFORMS!!

I have a pair of converse platforms ( last picture, not my picture though)  You can style alot of outfits with these lovely shoes. I love that I get taller with them ( I'm ''only'' 165 cm tall, I think I'm quite short actually.. ) But ofcourse, i get alot of comments and looks when i walk around in mine :) I think mine are 5 cm, I think 5 cm is perfect for flatforms. But I have big feet and had to take a smaller size when I bought them, so my feet hurts sometimes. But I dont care if they hurt, I love them!!
Many people dont know where to purchase them but I know some places, for example JFR.SE and ebay. This is have to be my best purchase ever, 399 sek well spent! Actually thinking about getting another pair in black, hmm, we'll see!
Flatforms have become quite popular theese days, there's ''all kinds'' of flatforms. Flatforms was apparently popular in the 90's as well. So i guess many companys gets inspiration from then.

Wicked

So, uhm Ive never really had a blog (Okey, i have tumblr !) but not like having a blog where i post pictures of me every day and so on. I mean, I do the same suff pretty much every day, but this will be like my ''fashion blog'' Where I share my thoughts about fashion, outfits etc and also alot of inspiring pictures from tumblr.
So my top title says ''wicked youth'' which is my url on tumblr (link to my blog HERE ), I cant really say in what category i blog about. Its pretty mixed up, but some fashion here and there and more ofcourse :-)
So a short presentation about me:
My name is Linnéa, I live in sweden and I'm 14 years (15 in december !!) old. I love travelling, fashion and chocolate. And thats pretty much it! :)
